WAVwatch 2.0 Manufacturing Warranty

 Standard Limited Manufacturing Warranty (1 year)

 

1) Warranty Coverage

WAVwatch warrants to the original purchaser that your WAVwatch device (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of twelve (12) months from the date the product is received (“Warranty Period”).
This Limited Warranty applies only to Products purchased directly from WAVwatch or through an authorized retailer.

2) Warranty Service and Remedies

If a defect arises and a valid warranty claim is received within the Warranty Period, WAVwatch will, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the Product using new or refurbished parts that meet WAVwatch quality standards;

• Replace the Product with a new or refurbished Product of equal or greater value; or

• Refund the original purchase price.

An inspection may be required first before final determination. Any repaired or replaced Product is covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or for 30 days, whichever is longer.

Shipping and handling charges may apply, except where prohibited by law.

3) How to Obtain Warranty Service

To request warranty service, please contact the WAVwatch Customer Service Team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

You must return the Product, with the RMA number clearly indicated, in its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, to the address provided by WAVwatch.

Proof of purchase may be required, and you may be asked to provide additional details about the Product’s use before service is authorized. WAVwatch is not responsible for any data, settings, or materials stored on the Product and not liable for its loss.

4) Exclusions and Limitations

This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

• Cosmetic damage (including scratches, dents, and normal wear and tear);

• Consumable parts such as batteries, unless product failure occurs due to a defect in materials or workmanship;

• Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, moisture, or exposure to water beyond stated resistance ratings;

• Damage caused by use with non-WAVwatch accessories, cables, or chargers;

• Damage caused by unauthorized service, modification, or alteration;

• Damage caused by power supply issues, improper storage, or operation outside intended use or environmental conditions (including excessive heat or humidity);

• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or through online auctions.

This Limited Warranty does not guarantee that operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5) Limitations of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

• WAVWATCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some states, countries, or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

6) International Purchases

If warranty service is requested outside of the original country of purchase, WAVwatch may, at its discretion:

• Repair or replace the Product with a comparable model; or

• Require shipment to an authorized service center in the original country of purchase.

The customer is responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and shipping fees related to international service requests.

7) Governing Law

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

8) Consumer Rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country. Nothing in this warranty affects your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
